‘Beware the Ides of March’ – Julius Caesar was assassinated #OnThisDay in 44 BC.

This coin was issued by Caesar’s betrayer Brutus and shows his portrait on one side, with two daggers, a Pileus hat and ‘EID MAR’ on the other.
