From 1967: Drag queens arrive at the Letros Tavern (50 King E.) for their annual Halloween Drag Ball. While it looks like everyone here is having fun, the scary part of this Halloween tradition were the homophobic threats and hostility from some in the outside crowds. (via @Hogtown101)
